The author is a New Jersey native, who received her bachelor's degree in Communication from Douglass College at Rutgers University in May 2010, began her graduate studies in January 2010 via the School of Communication & Information's joint degree program, and is continuing to pursue a Master's degree in Communication and Information Studies.
At the moment, she's hunting the elusive copy-editing position, interspersed with the occasional freelance design position; her prior freelance work includes In Nomine Superiors: Asmodeus, which she co-authored for Steve Jackson Games, Inc.
This account was used from September to December 2010 as part of Dr. John Pavlik's Media Studies: Theory and Practice course, discussing the use of mythology, literature, and history in entertainment media. It will continue to be used as a general blog for personal, academic, and other topics.
